The University of Dundee has launched its own tartan. Particularly garish:

Hmm... modern shortbread (as opposed to 'Ancient Shortbread' or Royal Stewart, as it is more commonly known).

Can we assume here that they'e catering to the american market?? I think its all a poor excuse for a trip round the states, and a shopping spree in new york. They're not going to make you wear a kilt of it to work everyday are they? :)

I thought all unis in Scotland had their own tartans already... Well they do in Edinburgh anyway ;)

I haven’t seen the Edinburgh University tartan. I tried a web search and couldn’t find it - do you have a link?
