Install the Sun developer tools, and add /usr/ccs/bin to your path. Download, then:

Re: Not able to Install CURL

I haven't used used Solaris at home since 2008, so I'm a bit rusty at this.

But the error that you're getting is that the configure script can't find a C compiler. Did you install the develop tools? Did you add /usr/ccs/bin to your path?

Re: Not able to Install CURL

Hi Thanks for Replying.

Yes I added /usr/ccs/bin to your path. But I am not sure whether the C Compiler is installed on my server or not. Can you please help me how to check whether C Compiler installed in my server. IF not Installed. Please help me to Install the C Compiler..

Re: Not able to Install CURL

You can check to see if you have a C compiler installed by typing “cc” or “gcc” at the command line. If neither are found, then you're missing the developer tools (or they aren’t in your path).

Since it’s a while since I installed them myself, I can’t remember the procedure for installing the developer tools. Perhaps it was a separate optional install on the OpenSolaris install disk.

Thank you very much!!

Just installed it successfully!

Thank you very much..

curl: (56) SSL read: error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0), errno 131

Dear Sir,

I am using curl utility. its version detail is following below.
/user/bin/curl -V
curl 7.30.0 (sparc-sun-solaris2.10) libcurl/7.30.0 OpenSSL/0.9.7d zlib/1.2.3
Protocols: dict file ftp ftps gopher http https imap imaps ldap ldaps pop3 pop3s rtsp smtp smtps telnet tftp
Features: IPv6 Largefile NTLM NTLM_WB SSL libz

The following curl command was successfully transfering the files to my sharepoint if the file size is less than 5MB. But, While transfering the file called sourcegunzipfile.tar.gz (size: 20MB) into my sharepoint folder, I am getting this Error: curl: (56) SSL read: error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0), errno 131

Command I used:
curl --ntlm -v --max-time 3600 -k -u 'domain\username:password' -T /src/sourcegunzipfile.tar.gz

Is there any resolution to address this to transfer large file without getting above mentioned error? Please suggest Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards,
